From what I can see, the seriousness afflicting our current state of sex is part of the global engineering and eugenics. As you so rightly point out, the 'toxic masculinity', the me-too movement, the feminism has weakened and confused men. In the coming generation, there may not be men to speak of, just mentally disturbed eunuchs. And the normalization of gay marriage does away with natural procreation entirely. Men's seed is being deposited into waste matter, not the life-giving female. This all leaves conception in the hands of the state and the elite male transhumanist fetish of artificial wombs.
