I did not make a comparison. I said we should learn the lessons of the Holocaust, which includes the warnings and guidelines as set out in The Nuremberg Code. If we can't talk about the Holocaust in any other context, we are simply ignoring its lessons. Some of my Jewish friends thought this piece was so good they shared it on Facebook. I thought the Christmas spirt was goodwill and peace to all not using the worst genocide in human history, perpetrated by the Nazi doctors on trial at Nurenberg, to express opposition to public health policies meant to save lives. Baseless comparisons between pandemic policy and the systematic humiliation, persecution and murder of Jews are absurd, disrespectful to victims and survivors and dangerous. Shame on you
In Nurenberg, the victors held a hangaroo court, while the US has never even signed the code they used to execute people. Of course, Churchill and his gang should have been hanged, too, for mass murder. And we are no even talking about most war crimes committed by the Allies at the end of the war and shortly thereafter. We are not even mentioning the enforcement of false history... Yes, the real question is: "Who is 'we'?"
